Since you are reading this post of books and buttons, I tend to think that half of you are interested in buttons. And who, pray tell, isn’t?
Do you have a button collector on your gift list this year? Want an easy idea?
Go to “springbok puzzles” on the web, and when you reach the site, type in “buttons”
and there, voila!, is a 1500-piece puzzle full of buttons.
Yikes! you say—1500 pieces. Yes, that’s a lot. AND the finished size is 28.75 inches by
36 inches. Do you know how big 36 inches is on the dining room table?? Your button
collector may not appreciate spending the whole winter working on this puzzle.
On the other hand, your button collector might be very pleased to do nothing but that huge, challenging puzzle all winter . . .
It’s up to you. I just help you out with ideas.
(left click to enlarge—this isn’t a picture of the puzzle box, it’s some buttons on my sewing table right now, along with some quilting fabric for a certain someone for Christmas . . .) See the horse button? See the 3 Girl Scout buttons?
