This isn’t easy, you know. You’ll probably want to go out and buy a notebook to keep up with the fashion ideas here (ho, ho, ho).
Let’s just say that most days in Paris I’ll look kind of like this:
That is, I’ll be wearing slacks or jeans, some kind of shell and a jacket. The heels are all in my mind . . .
So a couple of jacket options are a new Chicos boxy green watercolor-y print in a sturdy cotton—visualize here:
Or an old standby green lightweight wrinkly fabric black modern floral scrolly print:
I bought that about 100 years ago in Rhode Island—will wear it til one of us drops.
I also have on hand, a new Chicos very, very, very lightweight breezy long sweater—you know, it may be very warm in Paris.
and a Chicos lovely linen and organza? white jacket–kind of fun
This is four jackets so far—hm-m-m
Then we’ll be going to the flea market! Visualize me there–
wearing a short sleeved muted gray-green print sweater with embroidery trim and a plain soft green shell—and jeans, sneakers . . .
So, basically, so far, black slacks, gray slacks, and jeans—-40 or 50 tops and jackets. To be continued . . .
I like ALL of them! Especially the long sweater. Just bought one kind of like it (drapey) in blue-white stipple, very flattering, and it’s always handy to have a light wrap of some kind.
Thanks! Ah, the long drapey sweater—enjoy.
I really like the pleated white jacket! You could pair that with any color top, solid or print! You should definitely bring that! I also like the long Chico’s jacket! The blue is so pretty!
Thanks, Caty—appreciate your fashionista input!
Chic, chic, et chic! You’ve nailed it! Formidable.
Thanks for your interest—-still miles to go—but with everybody’s help, I’ll get there—
