Hello! Waiting for the Big Snow coming this weekend–!! We are
so overdue.
In the meantime, I’ll chat a minute about some old photos O’Half
bought at a local auction . . .
They are dated 1940 and center around a local school and many are
of the class play–wish I knew the title! Maybe I can find it somehow. But
I was most interested in the class photos–and the hairstyles and what they
wore—saddle shoes were popular–and plaids. Hey! Plaids are back!
And then after choosing one photo to show you, I went rambling through
my own school’s old yearbooks and found a similar class photo—this one
from 1947.
They are fun to look at —even when you don’t know the people, you can
almost SEE people you know/knew. Let your imagination roam with who
was who and what their stories might have been.
