The Queen’s 90th Birthday Stamp

What fun! There is a new four generation picture of the Royal Family
and it has been put on a stamp . . .

From left, HRH The Prince of Wales, HM the Queen, HRH Prince George of
Cambridge and HRH The Duke of Cambridge.

It is not available in the United States, but I ordered it online from Royal Mail.  It
was inexpensive, as you’ll see, and will be a nice treat for a certain friend of mine who
follows the Royal Family closely.

And we’re ALL so pleased with Prince George!

What fun. I have seen the photo but I had no idea it was going to be stamps! I wonder if it is weird having your face on a stamp?

Perhaps we could send you the Royal Family instead of just the stamps… 😉

They made George stand on a box for that pic – his legs aren’t really three feet long…

Now! Now! Tch! Tch! Yes, I saw the full photo of George standing on books.
I’ll bet he liked being “tall”.

I like to compare it to “The Family of Queen Victoria” by Winterhalter:

One moment please, while we all google Winterhalter, etc.
Yes, yes, delightful—but it won’t mail a letter!
