First, the big news! I found the puzzle piece! It was under a doily that was under a lamp on the puzzle table!
Second, it’s snowing! Yea! It’s snowing in the front yard–see photo above, and it’s snowing
in the back yard:
But I’m cozy inside–and Woody, too. And we have two new library books to read—Flannery O’Connor “Everything That Rises Must Converge” (stories) and that old chestnut of Agatha Christie’s “The Body in the Library”–a cozy reread any time of the year. Still working on this week’s NY Times Sunday crossword puzzle, and always have Dickens’
“Bleak House”—but I like to save that for evenings. So, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Reblogged this on filmcamera999.
It is a lovely cozy picture you paint, however as much as I love books and warm evenings reading. I still am happy I am leaving for a cruise in a couple of weeks…somewhere warm with books.
Love Flannery O’Connor, but I generally wait for a nice, sunny, cheerful day…to counter attack the effects of her formidable (and often teeth-rattling) writing. I loved Bleak House, as well. Such a splendid smack down of the legal profession! The snow looks wonderful. Happy reading.
Thank you, Grad. Enjoyed peeking into your site—-easy reading–means good writing. Stay in touch.
