♫ ♫ ♫ “Three French hens, (two turtledoves, and a partridge in a pear tree!” ♫
They are finished! The little dears are ready to be shipped off to fond family in
New England. Won’t they be surprised–and wondrous. They might recall that
they sent me a knitting book last Christmas—and here are their just deserts.
I hope the little hens will be good for a laugh around the bowl of egg nog.
By the way, in the photo above, those are tabletop eight inch Christmas trees. I
don’t want you to get the impression that they are full sized ten footers and that
those hens are HENS!
Thank you, dear readers, for your love and support as I cranked my way through
all the processes—three French hens don’t just arrive on a doorstep you know.
But with my outside windows covered with a fresh snowstorm and Christmas
coming ever closer, I feel some good cheer and I think the little hens’ dear faces
are wishing us all the best.
After all that, they’re gorgeous! Well worth the effort, and thanks for having us along on the very entertaining journey… 🙂
“Gorgeous” isn’t a word that comes to mind for me (!), but
I appreciate your support! For better or for worse, they’ve
been sent out in the mail this afternoon. Puck PWOCK!
They are DARLING!
Thanks! Wait til NEXT year!
