Froggy continues . . . and to tell you the truth it’s OK that he’s not
quite done because he’s for my friend’s January 8th birthday . . .
And the pattern says he’s “instant” so surely he’ll be finished soon!
Right now I’m working on his eyes.
See the eyes?
Oh, you don’t think they look like eyes? How about these?
And to make it clearer, this is a mock up of what may happen—the
eyes on the top of his ‘head’, you see.
Yesterday when I was spending my hour-a-day on Froggy, I was thinking
maybe I’d make more frogs for grandchildren next year. But in the
clear light of day today I realize that’s not going to happen!!
So the pattern, clear as mud, says to –well, you can read it. I read it
and said, “what?” but plodded on.
with the pinning
and the sewing—here we go!
See you soon!
Froggy is coming a long nicely!
Ha! Easy for you to say! 😉
Reminds me of the time I decided to knit a Pooh Bear for my mother. It looked quite straightforward and the knitting was easy – but the making up? You needed a PHD in origami to make sense of it! Still, it all worked out in the end – just like Froggy will! 🙂
Hey–do you still have the notes you took in that
origami course? . . .I could use them! 😉
